Proverbs 19:6-8

^6 (A)Many will seek the favor of a ^[a]generous man,
And every man is a friend to him who ^(B)gives gifts.
⁷ All the brothers of a poor man hate him;
How much more do his ^(C)friends abandon him!
He ^(D)pursues them with words, but they are ^[b]gone.
⁸ He who gets ^[c]wisdom loves his own soul;
He who keeps understanding will ^(E)find good.
